The Topshop Unique fall 2020 collection revealed a mix of styles that ranged from bold urban-chic to romantic to grunge and the result: a exciting display of statement garments perfect for the modern fashionistas!
The collection was streamed live by Google+ and enabled fashion enthusiasts that couldn’t take part at the show to take a glimpse at the brand’s new lineup from all angles as if they were sitting in the front row. The details that could have been detected easily even by the untrained eye were the sexy patent leather fabrics, pailette overdose applications, the fabulous layering and the oh-so-bright traditional floral motifs displayed on the soft and airy fabrics and occasional chunky knits.
The Topshop Unique fall 2020 collection show opened with supermodel Cara Delevigne who wore a high waist patent leather skirt paired with a cropped to and a classic patchwork detail fur coat- a look that seemed like a throwback to one of Britney Spears’ pop days music videos.
Various length skirts paired with baggy cropped tops, sweaters and oversized jackets were then introduced, all in dark shades to underline the fierce, statement stye of the collection. Red and orange tones and brightly printed skirt and pant separates saved the collection from being labeled too dark-too gothic by infusing some freshness into the lineup, meaning modern day fashionistas will be able to juggle with their wardrobe this fall going monochrome and somber one day and colorful and daring the next!
