In order to add a modern twist to the traditional recipe you can experiment with blueberries that will add an ambrosial taste to the tasty batter. In order to guarantee the success of your baking project, follow the blueberry muffin recipe below.
Ingredients
300g self-raising flour
150g fresh or dried blueberries
2 large eggs, beaten
100g caster sugar
100g butter
140ml milk
1tsp baking powder
1tsp vanilla extract
Prepare the muffin tray and place the special cases.
Mix the sugar, butter and the eggs with care in a large bowl.
Create a thick batter by adding the vanilla extract, the milk, the flour as well as the baking powder.
First add the blueberries and pour the mixture into the muffin cases. Leave the muffins in the oven for 30 minutes at 325°F. (or 160°C).
When the time is up leave the muffins to cool and turn the tray only after 10 minutes. Serve the delicious desert with tea or coffee if you wish.
